Requirements for PDF Files

We accept PDF files created in Acrobat Distiller 4.0 or 5.0.

Before Distilling a PDF:

• Embed thumbnails
• Set output resolution at 600 dpi.
• Do not use downsampling or compression.
• Embed all fonts.
• Do not use tags.
• Do not preserve OPI Comments.
• Color management must be off.
• Do not include ICC Profiles.
• Remove transfer functions.
• Allow PostScript file to override job options.
• Preserve level 2 copypage Semantics.
• Convert gradients to smooth shades.
• Process DSC comments.
• Resize page and center artwork for EPS files.
• Preserve document information from DSC.
• Use transparency only in Photoshop.
• All art & graphics used should be saved in EPS format.

• ALL IMPOSITION MUST BE DONE BEFORE FILE IS DISTILLED
